I am a Green Card holder and left the US almost 5 years ago.
I have no intention to move back to the US and am happy to give up my Green Card.
I have to go to NY next week on a business trip (1 week duration).
Should I complete an ESTA or enter as a Green Card holder?
I want to be completely transparent with US immigration and let them know I have a Green Card, but haven't adhered to the requirements of a Permanent Resident and am happy to have it taken from me. However, I do need to ensure I can enter the country for my business trip.
What's the best way to approach this?
Thanks,
