I am trying to find out whether or not my friend needs to obtain a travel visa, or any other type of travel documents to go to the US Virgin Islands. He is a permanent resident, but not a citizen. I would appreciate any information that you can offer me regarding this matter.

As long as the person is permanent resident of the US, no visa is required to travel to the US virgin islands.
