Dear folks,
I’m a GC holder and planning to stay in India over 6 months but less than a year to take care of my sick mom.
1. Do I need to file a Reentry permit in this case as I will stay over 6 months, how tough would be the interview in US border, please share any experiences, I’m confused whether or not to file I-131 (we have a house in US and my husband would be still in US, and I will still have all ties in US while I’m out of country.)
2. We got GC in 2013, will I be eligible for citizenship incase if I don’t file Reentry permit (we competed 5 years already for naturalization) will I lose any of it?
3. What kind of situation qualify for expedited Biometrics, so that I can leave the country at-least in 3-4 weeks after I apply. Also do I need to submit any medical records from my mom’s doctor? Please advice.
