    Can we leave USA before receiving Green card ?

    Hello,
    My mom has been given the IR5 visa and she made it to the states.
    She was told that will take 1-3 months to issue the visa.
    Can she leave the US and wait for the Green Card overseas? Whenever they mail the green card in our US address, we can bring it back overseas?
