Confusion - Change of Address (AR-11)

There is a question on Form AR-11 - "Last Date of Entry into US".

How should a GC holder who is currently out of US reply to this question? Can he give his date of entry on his last trip to US? Or he has to be in the US to file AR-11?

I tried to look on the USCIS site for answers but couln't find.

Any help will be greatly appreciated !!!!

Good question.... My friend has been in India for the last 3 months and his lease is expiring. He has decided not to renew his lease and will give one of his friend's address until he comes back.
