  • Traveling as a permanent resident

When I applied for i765 and i485 I never applied for an i131 (advanced parole). From my understanding the i131 is only while I wait for the green card right? Or does it mean I cannot travel even with my green card in hand?

I-131, also called Advance Parole is a document used to enter the US without a visa while AOS (I-485) is pending.
Once your Green Card arrives, All AP's and EAD's are irrelevant as the green card is used to enter the US, proof of unrestricted work authorization, etc.
