Hello all,
please I’ll need your advises/help :
my wife and I won on the lottery and we got our green card since Feb 2017. So We were in the US since Feb 2017.
for family reason, we will moving to another country by December 2019. We applied for re-entry permit and we will have our biometric appointment in 10 days.
we think that we will stay outside the US for two years but we’re planning to visit the US every 4-5 months for a visit of one to two weeks .
in the US, I’ll keep my bank account, also I’ll pay every month my personal loan (will be paid in 2024) , also I’ll keep my credit cards ...
also we just got a new baby and he got his US passport.
to be honest with you, we will go back to our home country (Egypt) , my wife needs to be close to her sick mom this period and for me I got a very good opportunity there .
So my concerns are about our ability to apply for citizenship by naturalisation .
I know about the 5 years of continuous residence, and the 30 months ...
but I’m wondering if you can advise us what we need to do ?
Please we would like to hear your opinion about our situation.
Thanks in advance
