GC replacement after 14 years.

Hi,
My son will be completing 15 years this August, 2010, I forgot to replace his GC with in 30 days when he reached 14 years. His GC expires in 2018. Should I apply for replacement now? If yes what is the fee?

Any one with similar situation may please help. Appreciate your help.
