    Aged/Green card holder Parents - Medical

    My parents just received their green card and are now in USA permanently.
    How do we get medical insurance for them? Should we apply for medicaid or medicare?

    They are 66 and 72 years old.Live in NY. They are willing to work light jobs in order to get the best medical help in 5 years. Can anyone suggest from your own experiences?
