Hey, guys just made an account to ask this question.
I just received my 2-year green card, but my last name is the name that was given to me at birth, not the name that I actually use on all my other documents (passport, social, etc....). To be clear the uscis officer went by my birth certificate which has the wrong last name. I know about form i-90 and I also know that it is not the officers' fault as the birth certificate does not state of any name change. I guess the question I am asking is, Is it possible to correct this mistake when applying for the 10-year green card( I'll be able to apply for that in about 3 months) or should I simply dish out the 600$ and file the I-90 form?I would also like to get my driving license, am I going to run into some issues there as well?
Thanks for your help.
