Traveling issue before reentry permit expire - coronavirus

Hi All,

How is everybody? I am currently in india. I am GC Holder. I have reentry permit valid till 17 june, 2020. I have full intentions of returning to usa before re-entry permit expire but seems like there are no flights. I am filing form of delhi usa embassy to get on to chartered flight by US govt but seems like they are giving preference to us citizens and their relative LPRs.

Is anybody else in my situation? What are my options?

Hello,

WHen I do a Search on flights in KayaK. It shows many airlines. June 7th. 2020 from Delhi to NYC.. You can try going to Hawaii just to extend the Re-entry permit. Its Just a suggestion.

I am not travelling to India until the situation clears.

I am also in similar situation , I filled form for US embassy arranged chartered flights, seems they are giving first preference to US Citizens ,
please update us if you hear any thing, hope we will hear soon.

delhi airports are closed. but I will call kayak now!

that's right. US citizens first. this shows importance of gc holders to become US citizens soon. I think once they have all citizens out, they will take LPRs

How long you have been out of US? Is your re-entry permit also expiring?
