Re-entry permit plus visit before every six months

Hello friends,

If somebody has 1 year re-entry permit and visits USA a week before every six months, will that year count towards his naturalization?

I think that travel every 6 months less 1 week will make the year count, of course you need to have enough time in the USA too.

I'm not sure if having a re-entry permit (for 1 or 2 years), will help you count a year if you don't travel every 6 months.

thanks. Probably, I am not going to re-entry permit this time. But my current permit is expiring on 17th June 2020 and still I am not able to catch flight to USA. Last flight to usa which was taking PR holders got booked full in 3 hrs. I did not get seat. Big issue for me
