Parents stuck in India more than 6 months on green card

Hi , my parents have a green card and are in India for about 6 months due to covid. They will be 6 months this month. Do we have to file any paperwork saying they have stayed more than 6 months in India due to covid. Any help is appreciated.

They need to return as soon as they can get a flight.
They may be questioned at the border, but they can easily explain that there were no flights and therefore were stuck in India. If it is >6months but <1yr when they return, no paperwork to file.
If they have the previous itinerary (cancelled by airline due to lockdown) even better.
