    Sponsor filing for unemployment due to COVID-19, will it affect me?

    My wife is thinking about filing for unemployment. She is my sponsor, and currently I have a conditional green card. I will be applied for the real deal next year. My question is - will her applying for unemployment affect me in any way? I am earning way over the income requirement posted by USCIS. Thank you!

    Unemployment is not public assistance. Her company paid into it and therefore it is available. It should have no impact on your GC.
