Question about mother's GC status. She hasn't entered the US since 2015.

Hi all,

As the title suggests, my mother's a diabetic patient that's got several/multiple health issues. the last time she lived in the US was 2015. What can we do to "reinstate" her greencard? Or is reapplying for a new one the best way to go?

My dad's a US citizen. I'm a US citizen, too.

reapplying from scratch is the best way to go

I would consider her status "abandoned" and she will face significant hurdles to overcome it, apply for SB1 etc etc (expensive and most likely won't work in her case)
I would start the process all over again
