Can I loose my green-card by doing so?

I've passed my 12th exam and I'm planning to get my B.E. degree in India which will
take 4 years. Since I'm a green-card holder I've to return to states every year.
If I get a reentry permit I can study 2 years without returning to states.
After then I've to visit the states every year in order to complete my graduation.
So is there any risk of losing my green-card?

I've passed my 11th and 12th exams in India.

You have to return and live for 6 months to retain your residency. So I am not sure if your university is that flexible to give you 6 months off after 2 years / workout a distance learning program.
