Diplomatic passport and Green card

Hi, I am an Indian citizen and I hold a Green Card. I might be a part of a cultural exchange program for which I will be getting a diplomatic passport from the Govt of India. Can you let me know if getting this diplomatic passport will affect my GC status?

Thanks for the reply. The govt of India will be applying for an official passport(white cover) and Mexican visa on my behalf. I will have to deposit my original passport and travel only using the diplomat passport.

I wanted to know if I will be able to enter and exit the US with the official passport and my green card alone?

Any advise in this matter will be highly appreciated.
