  • Do USCIS ACS Centers for Biometrics not allow Cellphones at all?

Hi so I have an appointment with the USCIS Application Support Center (ACS) for biometrics. I read that cellphones are not allowed? Is that a fact? What if I switch off my cellphone?

I'd want to use my cellphone to hire an UBER ride. Does anyone who's been to these offices lately know the official policy? Thanks!

I read somewhere that you can turn off when inside.

The guard will have you turn off your phone as soon as you enter the premises.
