  • Removing Conditions of Greencard

I-751 Received by USCIS on Monday, November 2nd. Question? When you receive the receipt, does it have the year extension on there? My husband tried to go take the asvab to join the army last month but was not able to because his 2 year green card expires in December. With the extension, he should be able to go ahead and enlist.

The I-751 receipt serves as an 18-month extension letter.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

The $680 is withdrawn once the case has been accepted
