Vermont Service Center
03/17/2021 - UPS delivered the package
04/01/2021 - GC expired
04/09/2021 - received a text message with receipt number
04/12/2021 - received the Notice of Action
04/21/2021 - case was updated to show fingerprints were taken

My I-751 was delivered on 03/25/2021 and still no response. I called yesterday and they told me that the system doesn't show yet that package was received. ???? .

Based on all of your time frames it took around 30 days for the check to be cashed.

Caleb30: how did you get to talk to a real person when calling uscis? What options you selected.

By the way. It takes about 4 weeks to hear back from them (check cashed, txt notification)

My delivered on 3/11, txt msg received 4/8 and I797 NOA on 4/10.

But when I check case status online, it said "error" no history.

Good to know. I hope by the time they update the fingerprints. It will show up correctly online. Below is the error message:

Larry82: I called the uscis number and then i said representative and later i said haven't receive a confirmation receipt (or something like that) and the system asks you if it was sent 30 days or more and i lied obviously. Then i was connected to a rep. But i tried a couple of times until i finally was able to. But if it asks you about lockbox or service center its better to say service center. If you answer lockbox it will give you instructions to send an email.

I called USCIS to follow up my application as tbey havent cash my check and found out that they sent back my application on April 24 due to improperly filed. Waiting for the notice to be able to re-file the application.

I am sorry to hear this; this sucks. Hopefully it was a simple mistake such as wrong date or check amount. Fingers crossed.

Brightarmyruler, Im also sorry to hear this. Probably is something simple to fix. I have seen so many cases return just because of something that doesn't make sense. Hope you can work this out ASAP.

03/21/2021- Sent package. UPS with personal check. MFJ.

03/25/2021-Received by USCIS. Phoenix AZ address.

04/23/2021- Text message with uscis receipt # and confirming Notice will arrive soon. Check was cashed.

I have a question. We will be filing I-751 soon. I read that if you file G-1145 form, you will get e-notification of application/petition. For those of you who have received text messages from USCIS upon them receiving your package, is that because you filed form G-1145 or is it something they send once application is received anyway? Thanks.

They will mail you notification letters once they process your application (not upon receipt) regardless. But with G-1145, they will text & email you when the application hits certain milestones like check deposited, RFE issued, case transferred to another office, etc. For many of these milestones, they will also mail you letters.
