My sister is a green card holder, but due to domestic problems she left the US about two years ago. Since that time, she has visited the US every 5/6 months, on her green card. Since she has left, she hasn’t filed taxes, paid any US bills etc, nothing much to show for her contacts with the US,
for that time period. She has no criminal record. As a matter of fact she has never been on the negative side of the law, in any capacity. She hopes to soon move back full-time to the US.
Her card is due to expire soon, will she be in a position to obtain a new
card, if she files for one?
Are any other records other than criminal, checked in the renewal process?
