  • How to Assemble my i-751 application

    Hi,

My time has come to fill my i-751 app, I was reading the information on the USCIS website, it says for

    Supporting documentation:
    • If you have any attachments, make sure each attached page has your name and A-Number (if any). You may also number the pages and include the total amount of pages being attached (for example, “page 1 of 11”)
I assume supporting docs are basically my evidence. I am suppose to write my name and A# on every sheet on paper I submit? I never did this for my AoS app.

I didn't realize either you had to submit all evidence from date of marriage to present, I thought it would just carry on from the last evidence submitted, aka the new/addtl evidence we took to our in person interview for our AoS.

When I submitted my I-751 last year, I did not put my A Number on any supporting evidence- although it seems a good idea in case evidence goes walkabouts. I would certainly submit everything you have, even if it makes the package substantial (mine weighed about 14 lbs).

The first post on this thread has a very comprehensive example. I used it as a guide to format my Table of Contents. https://www.immihelp.com/forum/after...esidence/page2

I would make sure to follow the I-751 instructions and submit evidence since the date of your marriage.

thanks, on your supporting evidence, do you highlight the importance of the documents, such as showing both your names etc..?

We are highlighting names, address and dates (on bank statements, utility bills, etc.). It is not required but in my opinion anything you can do to make it easier for them to see relevant information(s) will be helpful. It also shows that you have put some efforts behind preparing your package…for whatever that is worth!

I-751 money order question ????‍♀️ Thanks
For those who got money orders for I-751, on the money a order, apart from the payee, did you fill the purchaser (yourself) and address (your address)?
additionally, did you detach the detachable part on the side before submitting (the part which says: keep a copy of this stub for your records)?
I just don’t want them returning anything for an avoidable mistake. Thanks
