Hi all,
I recently attended my green card interview and was approved, and subsequently received the I-485 notice that my case was approved. I was told by the officer I should expect my green card in 2-3 weeks time.
Unfortunately, I have some upcoming travel next week that I cannot miss, and I am wondering what my alternatives are. I still have my advanced parole document, but my understanding is that it is no longer valid once my I-485 is approved.
Has anyone attempted to re-enter the US on AP shortly after their green card was approved (and didn't have their green card in hand).
Any risks I should be aware of?
