fingerprints relating to your Form I-131

I applied for a I-131 permit re-entry for my 87 year old mother. I was waiting for the schedule of the fingerprint and biometrics. But I received this notification: "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken".
Does it mean that we can leave USA now and we don't need to wait for biometrics?
In the application, I specified that I wanted to permit to be picked up in the US embassy in France.

Yes, most likely no need to wait for in-person biometrics because they reused the biometrics information they had on file = in-person biometrics has been waived. I have not heard of anyone needing to go for biometrics in person after their status updated as it updated for you.
