Over stay in Philippines

My mother returned to the Philippines (she was permanent resident) to take care of my father and her stay has exceeded 1 year. She did not file any forms when she left as she did not think the trip would last over 6 months. What forms do I need to file for her to return?

SB-1 visa

Since she did not get a re-entry permit, she can apply for an SB-1 visa at the consulate. Check their website for info on Returning Resident Visa forms, fees, procedures.

If she wishes to apply for naturalization in the furute, she has broken her continuty of residence for naturalization but rather than having to build up another 5 years, she only needs to wait 4 yrs and 1 day instead. 8 CFR 316.5(c)(1)(ii)
