My GC expired in 05/03/2006

My GC expired in 05/03/2006, I am out of US and have been living in India since 09/30/2005. I would like to regain my permanent residency in US. My son is a US citizen can he sponsor me? or can I just re-new my old GC?

Your USC son has to reapply and sponsor. You lost your old GC.
