Extend , Apply for 2. Reentry Permit. Biometrics still needed?

Hi All,

my reentry permit is going to expire in the next weeks. As a pity I need still some time abroad so I will not manage to come AND stay in the U.S. in the next months. Idea is to apply for second Reentry Permit to be on the safe side.

Question is, do I need to do the Biometrics again?
I already have done that the first time two years ago.

I guess there is no other way than to fly in and apply for another rentry permit?

Hi guys,
Now it's getting nasty. since of the bad weather, i was Not able to get on the flight today. Situation stays Bad at the east coast. question i have: old reentry permit expires 2jan. the last time i entered us was 2aug. will i loose My gc when i try to enter us end of jan ?
please comment!
