Can I re enter before my re entry permit expires ??

Hi again,thanks for coming up with this very informative forum.

Let's say that soon as I'll get my GC I will immediately apply for a re entry permit to stay outside the USA for the "less than 2 years period",let's say 15/20 months or somehing.
What happens if I decide to re enter the USA just right after 6/8 months my re rentry permit was issued ??

A reentry permit can be used to reenter US after a year or more of travel by lawful permanent resident . From the date of its issue the permit is valid for two years . So within validity period if you return it won't be a issue. Unless the document is returned to the USCIS or until you prove that you have lost it you cannot apply for a permit in case you already have a valid one.
