Hi,
My parents got their Green cards in Feb 2011 while they were in the US with me this past Spring.
Since that time they have traveled to India and back to the US but after spending some time in Canada.
We are concerned that since their passport was not scanned/stamped when they entered the US from Canada, how will they be able to prove that they have visited the US so as to be able to maintain their Green Card residency requirement (once visit per year).
Their Green Card was examined at the Canada/US border but they cannot say for sure if it was scanned.
Similarly, when traveling back to Canada from the US, and then on to India, since they will not encounter any US border crossing, how can the length of stay in the US be recorded?
Thanks a lot!
Pankaj
