Early 2009, I came with my husband, who is an American citizen in U.S. to live permanently and I got legally the green card. Our 2 sons are at the University here, as they are both American citizens too. Unfortunatelly due to the economic crisis in States, it was not possible for my husband to find a decent job here and after he was offered a remarkable university job in my home country, where we lived since then, he left. So I followed my husband to Europe and I am visiting my children once - twice a year for about a month each time. A few days ago when I came back, the immigration officer at the airport, warned me that if I continue to do that, they will get my card or they will deport me. Here we have property, file for tax return, we reserve bank account. I also have a valid driving license, SSN. What are my possibilities? To file for a reenrty permit? Will they approve it? I do not want to lose my card as the employement contract of my husband ends in 2-3 years. Apart from the reentry do I have any other options?

Just one more question.
Do I have to enclose photos for my re-entry permit?
It is not very clear on the instructions, but I am not sure.
Note: Make sure that you write your name and last name + date of birth ( or Alien Number) in the back of the photos SLIGHTLY WITH A PENCIL. Sometimes photos can be misplaced by immigration!!!
