Hello..
Me & my parents got Greencards through Family-based visa sponsored by my mom's sister. I m staying in USA for past 4 years but my parents were just maintaining the greencard status by applying re-entry permits as they wanted to spend more time in India. They have applied twice for re-entry permits & were accepted both times.
Do you think USCIS can allow them to apply the re-entry permit for 3rd time as well??
Even if they give it for the third time, Wouldn't it be a problem at the time port of entry when they return to USA because of the fact that they were staying out of USA from long time??
As to get out this complication, We were thinking of canceling my parents Greencards voluntarily and obtain a visiting visa for them just in case if they want to visit me in future. Is this acceptable by USCIS? And would it impact anyway to my Naturalization process to US Citizenship??
