help needed with green card application

I am really struggling with the question and would appreciate any help you could give me on this question. I am currently in the processing of filing for a Green card as I am a U.K citizen married to a U.S citizen. Once the green card is issued my wife and I plan on travelling for a few months before entering into the U.K.

Do you know if there is a limit to how long you can spend outside of the U.S.A once the green card is issued?

If you could help with this problem that will be greatly appreicated

rob, the uscis website has rules and regulations on maintaining your green card. i believe you have to spend atleast a few months in the US. extended periods of absence from the country will probably result in your card being taken away from you. here is a link from uscis.gov for you to read:
