Green Card / Passport..

My wife has her Green Card (with her married name) & we are looking at going back for a 1 month visit to Egypt. However, the passport she has, which was issued in Egypt, has her maiden name (different that what is on her Green Card). Will this cause a problem for her coming back into the United States & if so, what do we need to do so this isn't a problem? Also, do we need to file for re-entry permission since we're only going to be gone for 1 month?

If her passport is in the maiden name, how did you get the green card in the married name? You should get it changed in the passport as well.

You don't need any permit if you are going outside the U.S. only for 1 month.

Green Card / Passport

She came to the United States on a K-1 Visa (Fiance Visa). She got her national passport from Egypt so she could travel & then we got married here in the United States. We applied for the Green Card after we got married, so that is the reason her passport name & Green Card name are different. Is there something we need to do for that?

No need to worry. If you have enough time before the trip date then change the name in her passport. Otherwise, just make sure to put your wife name in airline ticket, just as it appears in her passport and carry the marriage certificate with you to explain the two different last names. Good luck.

my fiance' went to thailand with his family, he and the family is living as refugee there, and they'll sent to usa in few months and will be given citizenship in maximum a 2 yrs. my query is when its is possible that he'll come back to pakistan . the reason they gave to USCIS is
"they are not safe in pakistan"
now according to to the terms and conditions. none of them can visit pakistan atleast for 5 years.
and my problem is that my parents will never allow me to visit him abroad until i get married. and its not possible for being a asian and typical family's girl to wait for 5 years more. my parents gave me time to study for 2 years more. and i have 2 yrs to make him come back, plzzzzz suggest any way that my fiance' can pakistan , nothing is impossible, there must be some way or some clause by which we cam apply and he can come here.

I want to change my name from maiden name to married name in my Indian passport. I already got green card under my married name. I reside in USA. What address should be printed in the new passport?
