My mother and Father have recently got their interview scheduled for their green card in India.My mother wants to come to the US for 2 months.My question is what is the minimum amount of time that she needs to stay here after she gets her Green Card.I heard that once she gets her green card she has to be in the US for a minimum period of 6 months.Is this true.Can she come here for 2 months and then go back to India and then revist the US again for a period of 4 months.

She should stay in US at least 6 months out of 1 year. Those 6 months need not be continous.
