are there any new-exit procedures

travelling to india for first time after getting G.C. Would like to know if there are any new-procedures i need to comply with.

- are there any new exit procedures (finger printing etc..)
- do i need to carry any extra paper work other than passport & Green card
- my family would like to stay for 5 months, do i need to get special re-entry permit ?
- kid have usa passport & PersonOfIndia origin card, is there anything else they need ?

please help with pointers.
