Incorrect name on GC and Travel

I am scheduled to travel outside the United States in less than a week and just discovered my last name is my first name and first name my last name on my GC. It looked exactly like my old GC so I over-looked the flip. My old GC has it in the correct order. The new green cards (2010) have a different format.

Anyway, can I travel? I don't have a lot of time to file a replacement card. Should I make an appointment with the field office?

Should I travel and keep my old GC as additional ID and all my paperwork?

Any help would be great.

Without looking at it, it is difficult to comment.

Sometimes, instead of writing
FirstName LastName

they write
LastName, FirstName

Does your card fall into that scenario? If yes, you are good.

No it doesn't fall in that catagory. The names are flipped for sure. What do I do?
