If you got a conditional green card through marriage and if Citizen (Petitioner) Spouse Divorces (but you do not want to) or Citizen Spouse withdraws joint support in Form I-751, you can petition for a waiver showing extreme hardship that might occur if you've to leave US, okay this is the theoretical stuff.
