We are green card holders for last 2 years. We have been staying in this apartment since April, 2003. Before that we were in another apartment building which is located in the same city and coming under same zip code which we have now. Even though we changed address in all other documents like Driver's Licenses, we failed to update our Green Card address. Since there is no address on Green card we were not aware of it. Today only we came to know about the need of it from this web site. I contacted some of my friends, who are also in same situations and found that they have also to be updated. I am planning to move from this apartment in next August. Should I wait for that to apply for the address change ? If not, Should I tell them that I have been residing here for last one year ?

Which type of form I should use for the above type of situation -
Department of Homeland Security
OMB No. 1615-0007; Exp : 10/31/04
or
Department of Justice
OMB No. 1115-0003; Exp : 10/31/04 -
