Hi im new here and firstly wanted to say thanks for all the informative posts.
My info ..
I'm an Australian citizen with a permanent alien card that is not due to expire for a few more years. I am no longer married to a US citizen having gone through a divorce some years ago.
My question ..
When my card expires will i be allowed to simply renew the card if im still not married to a US citizen ?

You don't say how you got the GC, but from your question I assume that it was through marriage to a US citizen.
Is this a conditional GC or an unconditional one (with a 10-year expiration)?
If it is the unconditional one, there are no problems at all renewing the card.

Yes it is a 10 year gc i believe its unconditional umm i did get it after marrying a US citizen.
