Still have not got plastic card (though I made entry into US after consular processing in May 2003).Now it is december end.
-Any ideas of how long it has taken.
-Any place where one can query the status. There used to be a 214- number in TX but now everything has been replaced with the new 1-800- numbers for BCIS, which do not give info on a particular application's status.
It is worth mentioning that I did recieve a letter in July 2003 (but that basically said that the photocopy of your port-of-entry stamp needs to be sent). I did send that to a fax and BCIS office, but no response after that.
