Waiting time for plastic card

Does anybody know how long should we wait for plastic card after the stamping in the passport? I got my stamping done in Dec 2002 but haven't received the plastic card yet. The stamping in the passprt expires in Dec 2003. Do we need to just wait or should we apply for replacement of card ???? Also is there any place where you can track the progress of your plastic card??
My processing center is CSC
