  • Retaining GC Whiling Working for US Company Abroad

I am about to work for a private US company at one of its overseas location. Maybe a year, maybe 5 years, hard to say at this time.

Does anyone know what kind of procedures I should follow to keep my PR status valid and also keep myself from being rejected when coming back to US on GC?

This may be difficult to do already. But if possible, will i be able to somehow retain my previously accumulated post-GC residence time (about 2 years) in the US for future natualization purposes?

Thanks in advance for your insight.
