Good Morning
My son becoming Australian Citizen in week time, he is 5 year old and located in India with his dad. I have my citizenship due in week and he is not able to come here (Australia) before I attend my citizenship ceremony. Being minor/child he doesn’t need to attend ceremony to become Australian citizen, he will become Australian citizen along with me in week, even he will not attend ceremony.
As soon as he becomes Australian citizenship he loose his India citizenship, he is currently located in Indian and day he will become citizen, he will be in India as well, DOES HE NEED TO APPLY FOR INDIA VISA BEFORE OR AFTER HE BECOMES AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN (while he is in India)
We are planning to apply my son Australian passport (from India) once he becomes Australian Citizen and then after we want him to fly to Australia.
