Apply for Australi tourist Visa for my fiance who is in India and myself in USA

I need to apply for a tourist visa for Australia (subclass 600). I am located in USA and my fiance is in India. Can I send applications for both of us together to an embassy destination in USA or will this be an issue. I want to submit my fiance's application with mine because I am the financial provider and explaining the reason for visit will be easier.
