  • Tourist Visa for Australia

    Dear Friends

I along with my wife am planning to visit Australia for tourism In coming christmas. Our trip will be of arround 3 weeks.

I have some questions to clear myself.

    1. How much fund I need to show in my bank accounts so that we both get tourist Visa comfortably.

    2. Since I am retired and my gross income does not exceeds the exemption limit of Income tax,as such I do not file income tax return. Is it mandatary to produce copy of Income Tax return.

    3. We have other FDs, Property and our daughters & grand children in India.

Thanking you in anticipation of quick reply

      1. Typically, showing around AUD $5,000 to $10,000 per person for a 3-week trip is a good guideline for tourist visa applications to Australia. It's not a hard and fast rule, though. Just make sure you have enough to cover your expenses comfortably during your stay.
      2. If you don't file income tax returns because your income is below the exemption limit, you might not need to provide them for your visa application. However, it's a good idea to check the specific requirements for the Australian tourist visa to be sure.
      3. Having other assets like fixed deposits, property, and family ties in India can strengthen your visa application by showing ties to your home country. Including documentation related to these assets can help support your application.

Hope this helps, and have a fantastic trip to Australia!
