I studied then worked and now living in USA. How does a visa holder or US green card holder answer this question when applying for Australia Tourist Visa?
In the last five years, has any applicant visited, or lived, outside their country of passport, for more than 3 consecutive months? Do not include time spent In Australia.
Name Country Visited Date From and Date to
Many come to USA on student visa then change to work visa and later green card, living in USA for many years, 10-15-20 years, how does one answer above question?
What will be the date visited from - last entry date to USA (say went out to visit some other country for 10 days and came back) or the date of first entry as then when you started residing here either as student or work visa or date you got H1B visa or green card? What should be the Visit date from?
and Date to ---- How to answer this as one is still residing in USA and the form does not let you leave it blank. If one puts Date to then it would mean you are not residing any more in USA.
Since one still holds passport of home country but is residing in USA (studying/working), answer for above should be yes I think. Also they ar en to asking just visited but lived too.
Any help will be appreciated.
