taking home laptop bought in USA

I would like to know whether i can use my laptop computer in India which is bought in US? Do I need adapter or something to make my laptop work in india?

you can actually check it on you laptop adaptor, it should say VOLATE INPUT 110V-220V, which allows you to use it anywhere on Earth. Or a voltage selector Switch even switches you between the countries. If you dint find any of these, u might have to talk to a technician, As far as my kowledge all top brands have this international feature which allows them to use it any where, I use IBM and it has that.

Even if your laptop doesnt have this feature you can buy an Adaptor like thing in INDIA that transforms 220v to your USA current 110v, so not a prob at all..

Yes you can bring your laptop to the us it is extremely easy. all you need is a converter. they can be purchased at radio shack for like 8 dollars.
