taking LED TV to India

Planning to take a LED 47 inch from USA TO INDIA (hyderabad) by emirates.. Can anyone tell me the following:

- will it work in India ? NTSC/PAL etc.
- do I need to buy converters for voltage ? If so, what type ?
- what are custom charges ?
- will emirates allow it to be transported ?
- any other things to worry about ?
