visa to pio

Planning to move back to India. My wife and I are L1 visa but don't have time to get a pio for my is born son who is 18 months old. Can I get a visa done for him from US and then get a pio card in India? If yes, does anyone know what's the process for pio in India? And also what visa should I get for him?

Apply for entry visa to go to India , once you reach there you can take care of pio card.

Your son may be eligible even for a OCI card which is better and does not require police registration. I did that for my daughter from India. (She was born in Melbourne)
