L-H Visa Clarifications

Hi,

I have L1 Visa valid till 11th September 2014. I had applied for L-H conversion when I was in USA and it got approved. I travelled back to India on 28th July.

Now I am India and have original approval copy of L-H conversion. My H1 Visa is not yet stamped. My passport is valid till 23rd Feb 2015.

Now I want to travel back to USA on some urgent requirement from customer

Based on this situation, I have few questions.

1) Whether I can travel back on L1 Visa now or will it expired and status will be changed to H1.
2) If I am able to travel now on L1( valid till 11th Sept), Can I stay back there from 11th sept to 1st oct. or
3) Should I need to come back before 11th Sept, get H1 Stamping done and go back after 1st October( since H1 is valid from 1st oct)
4) If I travel now, will there be any issues at the port of entry since I have visa valid only for 10-15 days, whether they will give extended I-94 till 1st oct, Whether they will allow me to enter USA.


5) Also whether my passport need to be valid for 6 months before travel

Please reply me at the earliest as I need to travel in 1-2 days.
